3. Today, we are going to finish our discussion from Psalm 37.

4. In my last message, I defined for you the word “hindsight.”

5. I told you that it is the ability to see things after the event has taken place.

6. We, also, discussed three things that David tells us about hindsight.

7. Number one,

8. God never forsakes His own,
神从未离弃祂的儿女,
9. and we saw that in the last message.

10. Today, we are going to see two more.

11. God always blesses His own,
神会永远赐福给祂的儿女,
12. and, God is always honored when He is trusted.

14. I want you to see that God always blesses His own.

15. I know some of you are sitting by the radio and saying,

16. “…but I don’t feel blessed right now.
“可我现在没有感觉得到了赐福。
17. How can you say that God blesses His own all the time?
你怎么能说,神每时每刻赐福给祂的儿女呢?
18. I’m not blessed right now.”
我现在就没有得到赐福。”
19. You might not be one of His own,
你也许现在还不是属神的儿女,
20. and the first thing you need to do is to become one of His own;
那么,你要做的第一件事就是成为神的儿女;
21. but, even if you are one of His own,
但即使你成了神的儿女,
22. you may be saying, “You don’t understand my problems.
你还会说,“你们不理解我的难处。
23. You don’t understand the difficulties I’m facing, right here and right now.”
你们不理解此时此地,我所面临的困境。”
24. You may be feeling lack of blessing right now,
你也许此刻感受不到神所赐的福,
25. but, in hindsight, you are going to be able to look back and say to the Lord,
事后,当回过头来看的时候,你会对主说:
26. “Oh, Lord, this lack of blessing was one of the greatest blessings that You have ever given me.”
“噢,主啊,感受不到赐福,正是你赐给我最大的福气。”
27. David knew that is easy for us to fall into the temptation of misjudging the blessings of God.
大卫知道,我们很容易落入一种试探,就是把神所赐的福看错了。
28. He understood that we think we know what is good for us.
他知道,我们常常以为自己明白,什么对我们有益处。
29. Do you really know what is really good for you?
你真知道,什么对你真的有益处吗?
30. I used to think I did
我曾经以为我知道,
31. and I tried to tell the Lord a few things;
并且还尝试着给神出主意;
32. but I am so thankful that God did not take my advice.
但我感谢神,祂没有采取我的建议。
33. I would have been in deep trouble,
否则的话,我的麻烦可就大了,
34. and, David knew that we are vulnerable to the thought that we know what’s good for us.
大卫知道,我们很轻易就会以为,自己明白什么对我们有益处。
35. David knew that we foolishly misjudge God’s blessings as curses,
大卫知道我们会愚蠢地把神的赐福错看为诅咒,
36. and, therefore, in verse 27 of Psalm 37, he said,
因此,在诗篇37篇27节那里,他讲到:
37. “Depart from evil and do good;...”
“你当离恶行善;……”
38. What evil is he talking about, here?
他在这里所讲的恶是什么呢?
39. It is the evil of falsely accusing God of not loving you,
就是错怪神不爱你,
40. because He does not give you what you want when you want it.
因为在你想要得到的时候,神没有给你想要的。
41. You must depart from this evil,
你必须远离这种恶,
42. from the evil of the hardening of your heart toward God,
远离这种对神硬心的恶,
43. from the evil of your anger toward God,
远离这种对神恼怒的恶,
44. from the evil of your coldness toward God.
远离这种对神冷淡的恶。
45. Depart from it.
远离这种恶。
46. Just because you do not have what you want for yourself does not mean that God is not blessing you.
仅仅因为你没有得到你想要的,并不意味着神没赐福给你。
47. Don’t fall into that terrible temptation.
千万不要落入那个可怕的试探之中。
48. I know it, because I have been in it.
我了解这种试探,因为我曾落入其中。
49. Look at verse 28 of Psalm 37.
让我们来看诗篇37篇28节。
50. David said, “…God does not forsake His godly ones.”
大卫说:“……神不撇弃他的圣民。”
51. God’s favor is promised to His own.
神已将好处应许了祂的儿女。
52. God promised that the righteous will inherit the earth,
神允诺义人必承受地土,
53. and that should be enough.
这就足够了。
54. When I was almost nineteen years of age,
在我19岁的时候,
55. I was down and discouraged;
我曾有一段时间非常消沈和沮丧;
56. and the devil said to me,
魔鬼对我说:
57. “While you’re down, might as well stay down...”
“既然你已经跌倒了,就躺在那里别起来了……”
58. so, to get away from God’s call in my life,

59. I enrolled in a prestigious institution.
我报考了一所名校。
60. It was difficult to get into,
这所学校非常难考,
61. but I got in,

62. and I said, “Great! It’s a miracle!”
我说:“太棒了,简直就是一个奇迹!”
63. My listening friend, be very careful when you are running away from the Lord and something works for you.
亲爱的朋友,当你逃离神,并且你所遇到的事都很顺利时,要非常小心。
64. It is not always a miracle.
那不一定是个奇迹。
65. I said to myself, when I was running away from the Lord, “This must be great.
当我逃离神的时候,我对自己说:“这真是好极了。
66. I know that that is exactly what I should be doing now…”
我很明确地知道,这就是目前我该做的……”
67. until the day came for me to report.
然而,学校报到的日子到了。
68. I didn’t show up;
我没有出现在学校;
69. but not by choice.

70. Out of the thousands of letters that were mailed out,

71. only one letter was lost in the mail.

72. Out of the thousands of letters, only one did not make it;
在成千上万的信件当中,只有一封信没有寄到;
73. and that was my letter.
那就是我那一封。
74. I tried to be reinstated, but it became impossible.
我试图让学校恢复我的录取资格,但已办不到了。
75. I came to the conclusion that it is all over.
我得出结论,一切都完了。
76. I remember walking down a very wide street,
我记得当时,自己走在一条很宽的马路上,
77. and I was walking in the middle of it,

78. and I was shaking my fist at God.

79. I said, “God, what are You doing?”

80. This was my spiritual adolescence.

81. What I wanted, and God’s blessings for my life, were not one and the same.

82. Please remember this, my listening friend.

85. What you want God to give you, and God’s blessings for you, are not always one in the same.
你想从神那里得到的,与神要赐给你的福,并不总是一致的。
86. Most often they are not,

87. and, David said that, “in hindsight, I know that God never forsakes His own.
大卫说:“事后来看,我知道神从未离弃祂的儿女。
88. In hindsight, I know God always blesses His own.”

89. Thirdly, David said,

90. “In hindsight, I know that it honors God to be fully trusted by His own.”

91. I often hear people say, “I want to honor the Lord.”
我经常听人们说:“我想荣耀神。”
92. I would say to them, “Do you really want to honor the Lord?”
我愿意对他们说:“你真的想荣耀神吗?”
93. The greatest honor you can bestow upon the Lord is to trust Him,
你能献给神的最大荣耀,就是信靠祂,
94. to trust Him, even when you cannot see the evidence;
即使是在你还看不到任何迹象的时候,就信靠祂;
95. to trust that God will do things right all the time.
相信神所做的总是正确的。
96. I wonder how many of the people who are entangled in sin think that they can get away with it.
我不知道那些陷在罪中的人们,有多少人认为自己可以侥幸脱罪。

1. I’m sure many people think that they can get away with what they are doing.
我相信有不少人认为,他们不用为自己的罪负责。
2. David would have said,

3. “Don’t think that the greedy and the corrupt will get away with sin.
“不要以为那些贪婪和败坏的人,能够逃脱罪的后果。
4. Don’t be tempted to think that the greedy and the corrupt will ultimately succeed.
不要幻想那些贪婪和败坏的人,最终能够成功。
5. It may appear that way for a while.
在某一段时间,似乎会出现一点成功的迹象。
6. It may look that way for a while,
似乎看起来有可能成功,
7. but you trust in God.”
但你要相信神。”
8. Look at verses 35 and 36 of Psalm 37.
请看诗篇37篇35到36节。
9. “I have seen a violent, wicked man spreading himself like a luxurious tree in its native soil;
“我见过恶人大有势力,好像一棵青翠树在本土生发;
10. then, he passed away and he was no more.
有人从那里经过,不料,他没有了。
11. I sought for him and he could not be found.”
我也寻找他,却寻不着。”
12. If you reverse the number of Psalm 37, you get Psalm 73,
如果你把诗篇37篇的数位倒过来,就成了诗篇73篇,
13. and, in Psalm 73,

14. you will read of a man who was the head of the choir in the temple.

15. His name was Asaph,

16. and Asaph is the author of Psalm 73.

17. Asaph had fall into the temptation of thinking that the wicked are happy

18. and the righteous are miserable;
而义人是悲惨的;
19. then, he discovered that things are not the way they appear.

20. He was tempted into thinking that trusting God will never get you justice.

21. He fell into the temptation of thinking that trusting God will never get him success.

22. He fell into the temptation of thinking that trusting God will never get him anywhere in life;

23. but listen to the real truth.
但事实是,
24. Trusting in God, when things look upside down to you,
当你觉得,事情被颠倒黑白的时候,要信靠神,
25. is what God wants you to do.
这才是神想要你做的。
26. He does not want you to make your judgment by appearances.
神不想你只是根据事情的表像,来做出判断。
27. That is the point He wants you to reach.
神想要你成熟到这个地步。
28. The righteous man has his feet planted on the Rock,
义人的脚立在盘石之上,
29. while the ungodly builds on shifting sand.
而不敬虔的人站在流沙之中。
30. Let me say a word to the unfaithful servants of the Lord Jesus Christ.
我想告诉那些对主耶稣基督,还不够忠心的仆人们。
31. If you in your heart know that you have not been faithful,
如果,你在内心深处,知道自己不忠心,
32. then, you must repent of it today.
那么,你今天就马上悔改。
33. Now, I have a word for the faithful.
我也想对那些忠心的仆人们说,
34. I want you to understand this.
我希望你能明白。
35. Your trust in God will be ultimately vindicated.
你对神的信靠,最终将得到肯定。
36. It has to be, or else God is not true to His Word,
一定会的,否则的话,神的话就落空了,
37. and God is always true to His Word.
而神的话总是信实的。
38. Your trust in Him has to be ultimately honored;
你对神的信靠,最终将得到荣耀的冠冕;
39. otherwise, God is not God at all;
否则的话,神根本就不是神;
40. but David said,
大卫说过:
41. “I have lived long enough to see God be true to His Word.”
“在我有生的岁月中,已看到了神话语的信实。”
42. You must trust Him.
你必须信靠神。
43. You only need to trust Him.
你只须信靠祂。
44. My listening friend,
亲爱的朋友,
45. Do you trust God, today?
今天,你信靠神吗?
46. Have you come to believe that the wicked are prospering, while the righteous suffer?
如果你原来以为恶者会发达,而义人将受苦,
47. It is time that you realize how things really are.
那么现在,你应该明白,事情的本来面目。
48. It is time for you to understand the truth.
你应该明白,什么是真理。
49. Your heavenly Father wants to show you His faithfulness.
天上的父神,要向你显明祂的信实。
50. He wants to give you His blessing.
祂要赐福给你。
51. If you are ready to receive them, will you pray with me now?
如果你已预备好要接受赐福,现在愿意和我一起祷告吗?
52. Father,
天父,
53. for the hearts that are having difficulty trusting You,
为着那些心里有拦阻,以至于不能信靠你的,
54. I pray, in the name of Jesus, that they open themselves up right now for the Holy Spirit to come in.
我奉耶稣的名祷告,他们现在就能开放自己,让圣灵进入到他们的心中。
55. For those knees that are shaking in fear,
为着那些仍然在恐惧中战惊的人,
56. I pray for the power of the Holy Spirit to strengthen them.
我祈求圣灵的能力使他们刚强壮胆。
57. For those who are not faithful,
为着那些还不忠心的人,
58. I pray for the conviction of the Holy Spirit
我祈求圣灵来做那责备的工作,
59. to turn them into faithful servants of Jesus Christ;
把他们转变成耶稣基督忠心的仆人;
60. and, Father, unfaithfulness is only a moment away from every one of us.
天父,我们每一个人都有可能对你不忠,
61. Please protect us.
请保护我们。
62. Help us to be faithful to the end so that we can hear the words of Jesus,
帮助我们能够忠心到底,直到听见主说,
63. “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
“好,又良善又忠心的仆人。”
64. In Jesus’ name I pray,
